Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, president of Lviv “Ruh”, gave his comments on the future of the new season of the Ukrainian Premier League.
“I would like to see the championship of Ukraine take place in Ukraine. We must make every effort to make it happen for our people. “Ruh” is ready to play under air raids and bombings. This is our front. It is important to show that even in times of war the Ukrainians are indestructible.
If it is impossible to play at home, we need to gather the clubs and decide this issue. As the majority decides, so it will be. We can play in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia. We can ride to matches and come back in order to stay with our families, warriors and people. By the way, there are two million refugees from Ukraine in Poland, who can support us at the matches. In Turkey, it will be logistically more difficult to organize.
So far there is no one who will stop life in Ukraine. We are the ancestors of the Cossacks and have been defending our independence and culture for thousands of years. We have to hold the championship of Ukraine. I am sure that everything will be fine,” – TK Football 1/2/3 quoted Kozlovskyy.
