Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy – a well-known Lviv businessman and philanthropist, ex-president of the “Ruh” football club – received the award “Valor and Honor” from the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The award was presented to the businessman on the eve of the match of the last round of the charity championship of the League of Football Veterans of Lviv Region, organised in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the tournament, “Ruh” took first place in one round before the end of the competition.
“We support the Ukrainian defenders because we have a great goal – to expel the aggressor from our land and achieve victory. The award is a testimony of faith in our independence and freedom. It is something that is always in our hearts, and no one can take it away from us. This is our main award,” said the patron.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the “Ruh” football club have been helping the Ukrainian army since the first weeks of the military invasion. For this work, the businessman regularly receives awards and honours. Thus, in May, the ex-president of the “Ruh” football club was awarded the highest military award provided for civilians – the “Badge of Honor” for his significant contribution and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In July, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and the “Movement in the Future” charitable organisation handed over two devices worth 4 million UAH to the Lviv military hospital. In August, the philanthropist handed over six military trucks, an excavator, nets and 20 radios to two Lviv brigades and financed the production of 500 stoves. In September, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy received several more awards and honours for helping the armed forces of Ukraine and contributing to the fight against the aggressor.
