Soldiers of the 5th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the King Danylo Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 125th Separate Brigade of Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and our defenders in Bakhmut received thermal vests.
It was possible to purchase thermal clothing and deliver it to the front line thanks to donations collected during the “We Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” star charity match.
The match “We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” took place on November 18 last year at the football field of the “Ruh” Academy. The co-organiser of that game was, in particular, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, honorary president of FC “Ruh” (Lviv), and the football club itself.
Then the game united famous bloggers, actors, singers and football players. The event’s main goal was to raise funds for the purchase of thermal clothing for Ukrainian defenders within the framework of the “Sport Warms Up” project.
The “All Stars” team defeated the national team of artists of Ukraine with a score of 10:6. The match on the snowy field seemed emotional, fun and exciting. It brought pleasure to its participants. But the most important thing is to help our military.
Therefore, many willing people have now responded to the call of “Ruh” to participate in the charity multi-tournament, which will be held on Saturday, January 28, in the Emily Sports Arena on the territory of the Emily Resort complex and the Academy of FC “Ruh”. Celebrities of show business, e-sports, comedians, bloggers and other public figures will compete in three sports – mini soccer, basketball and floorball.
