The 45th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received further assistance from the Lviv football club “Ruh” and philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
On the front lines, three UBZDs are already being used as intended, and a set for equipping a mobile bath-laundry complex and heating points has also been delivered.
UBZD (Unified Body of Zero Dimensions or Unified Pressurized Body) is a mobile room where Ukrainian soldiers can warm up, prepare food and rest. It is essential that each UBZD was equipped with tiny houses, furniture, sleeping places and other necessary equipment. UBZDs are manufactured individually for the needs of each brigade.
“It’s definitely convenient. There is enough space. There is a lot of heat from the stove. That is, to warm up and cook food – without any problems. On a volunteer basis, boys arrange these UBZDs, paint them, and assemble furniture. For example, I am familiar with electricity in civilian life, so I installed electrical equipment here. Everyone helps as much as they can,” Serhii Kucher, a soldier of the 45th separate artillery brigade, especially noted.
In turn, Ruslan Koval, the head of the enterprise that arranges UBZDs for the military, emphasised: “Cars arrive, we inspect them, equip them, make furniture, we used to make kitchen cabinets, now we make sofas, tables, we install stoves so that our boys stay warm. We fulfil their wishes because each car is made for a certain service.”
Buying UBZDs is a problem, so every such mobile room is repaired at the enterprise. They arrange it in about a week.
With this in mind, Oleksandr Sytaruk, a soldier of the 45th separate artillery brigade, thanks: “Thank you very much to the Ruh football club for such support. We really need it. We feel the help literally for everything we need, without any problems.”
Volunteer Yuliy Rudnytskyi says: “This is another stage. There used to be trucks and car repair equipment. But, unfortunately, the needs of boys are not decreasing but increasing. So everyone contributes little by little to the fact that we can squeeze the enemy out of here as much as possible. Everyone joins in what they can – someone with repairs, someone finds contacts, someone organises it all. And such a chain helps us squeeze the orcs out of our land.”
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC “Ruh” (Lviv) also handed the military artillerymen a kit for equipping a mobile bath-laundry complex and heating points. In particular, boilers, washing and drying machines, faucets, pipes, sinks and OSB plates.
The senior sergeant of the 45th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Afanasenko, noted: “We received a bath and laundry complex, which includes washing machines and dryers. This is so that our fighters on the front lines are in good condition so that they can bathe, wash their clothes and go to battle, defend our Motherland not dirty, like the russians, but with clean thoughts, with clean hands, with a clean body, with a clean soul, in clean clothes. Help from our friends is very powerful and necessary for us. It’s not the first time we’ve received it.
General Director of FC “Ruh” Ihor Dedyshyn thus emphasised: “These are also essential things. It cannot be said that they are essential, but they are needed so that our soldiers feel a certain level of comfort. Now it’s winter in the yard. It’s cold, so these heating points will come in handy. Plus, I want them to feel comfortable in clothes, uniforms, etc. Therefore, they will need a bath and laundry complex. We joke that we are handing over washing machines, for which russians have great appetites. But we really hope they will serve our soldiers and in no way fall into the hands of the enemy.”
Ihor Dedyshyn noted that there was an instant response to every request from the military that came to FC “Ruh” or Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. “Yellow and black” will definitely not get tired of helping the Ukrainian army, as this is extremely necessary for the military. Next year, “Ruh” plans further to increase such support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
