The Emily Event Hall hosted a grand LVIV CHAMPIONS evening dedicated to the historical achievements of the pupils of the Ruh Academy in the 2025/26 season, founded by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. As a result of a busy and successful football year, three teams of the club’s Academy (U-16, U-15 and U-14) won the championship titles in the NLM Pro League, and the Ruh U-17 team won bronze medals in the competition. The awarding ceremony was a real celebration, where the main emphasis was placed on the upbringing of a new generation of Ukrainians.
Famous guests and city and regional leaders joined the honoring of the young players. In particular, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi personally awarded the Ruh U-15 team, which, under the leadership of Borys Baranets, had a fantastic season and guaranteed itself gold medals in the Pro League ahead of schedule. The champions were also joined by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi and the president of FC Karpaty Volodymyr Matkivskyi.
The main triumph of the evening was the moment when the founder of the Academy and FC Ruh Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, together with the president of FC Karpaty Volodymyr Matkivskyi, presented well-deserved gold awards to the debutants of the Pro League – the Ruh U-14 team led by Andrii Dankiv.

The incredible success of the boys gave the club structure another outstanding award – the trophy of the winners of the overall team standings in the NLM Pro League. The main original cup in the hands of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy symbolized the total dominance of Ruh in the country’s children’s and youth football.
During the celebrations, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy noted that this success is the result of the systematic work of a large team and the foundation laid for the future of Ukrainian sports.
“We built this Academy not just for cups and medals, but to create an environment where strong personalities, smart children and worthy Ukrainians grow up. Today’s victories of our students at the national level prove that we are moving in the right direction. This success is just the beginning of a long journey, and we will not stop there, because our goal is to bring Ukrainian football to the level of European top clubs,” the founder of the Yellow and Blacks emphasized.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s ambitions for the Academy and FC Ruh go far beyond the current victories. The organization faces new challenges ahead, including regaining the championship title in the U-19 National League, further development of talented youth and the rise of football in Lviv region. In addition, very soon the Academy’s pupils will receive a new modern home in Vynnyky, which will bring the training process to an even higher level.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is a well-known Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist and founder of the Ruh football club and the Academy of the same name in Lviv. He systematically invests his own resources in the development of children’s and youth football, the construction of modern sports infrastructure and the professional training of a new generation of Ukrainian athletes.
In addition to his large-scale sports activities, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is one of the largest and most consistent benefactors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His financial contributions and assistance in purchasing military equipment, vehicles and drones for Ukrainian soldiers on the front line have already exceeded UAH 100 million.
