The multi-tournament «We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine» raised more than 1.5 million hryvnias for the Ukrainian military. Funds continue to flow.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, a well-known Lviv philanthropist and businessman, founder of FC «Ruh» (Lviv), the football club itself and the «Ruh into the future» charitable organisation, this weekend held a charity multi-tournament «We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine», the winner of which was the team «Leopards».

Over the weekends in Lviv at the Emily Sport Arena on the territory of Emily Resort complex and the FC «Ruh» Academy, the first large-scale charity tournament in three sports took place with the participation of four teams: comedians (in the blue kit), bloggers (yellow), cyber/gamers (black) and «Leopards» (white).

The competition was held in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere, with a lot of fun and joking around. All participants got a boost of energy and took part in a very important cause. After all, the main achievement of the large-scale event was the collection of donations for the Ukrainian military. And there was a huge number of them.
As of Tuesday, January 31, our money box was replenished by the Markus Foundation in the amount of 538 thousand hryvnias. Honourable mentions go to Petro Zastavnyy and «Lions on a Jeep» for the two largest donations- 61 000 and 60 000 hryvnias.
In addition, Polish friends made a donation of 1 million hryvnias, which will be used to purchase an R-18 attack drone and 5 powerful generators for the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade «Magura».
Cyber / Gamer Team
As reported, the participants of the multi-tournament «We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine» played futsal, basketball and floorball (an analogue of indoor hockey). Each match of the specified sports lasted 15 minutes. The format of the tournament is new and unique, something similar has never been organised on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, celebrities could try their luck at foot, hand and stick ball games and see what suits them best. Such functionality definitely added attraction to the event
As reported, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC «Ruh» (Lviv) have already implemented a similar successful initiative – on November 18, 2022, they held a charity match of stars «We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine», which united on the football pitch of «Ruh» Academy famous bloggers, actors, singers and football players. At that time, the main goal of the event was to collect funds for the purchase of thermal clothing for Ukrainian defenders in the «Sport Warms Up» project.
In a charity match with a lot of positive emotions, the «All Stars» team defeated the national team of artists of Ukraine with a score of 10:6. As such, it was possible to help the 5th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the King Danylo Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the 125th Separate Brigade of Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
