The founder of FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, and Emily Resort started the new year 2024 with a new donation for our defenders: the businessman and philanthropist transferred another UAH 2 million to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total amount of financial aid collected and transferred to the military from the New Year’s celebration at the Emily Resort sports and recreation complex amounted to UAH 4 million.
Emily Resort noted that it is very pleasant to start the new year with such a useful and pleasant cause – helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We, as announcedFor the second time, we are transferring all the proceeds from the New Year’s Eve celebration at our complex in the amount of UAH 2,000,000 to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is a total of UAH 4,000,000. We thank our Heroes for making Ukraine free and independent in 2024! And may this year be the year of Victory!” Emily Resort said in a statement.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, charity has become an integral part of the lives of many Ukrainians. From the first day of the war, the founder of Emily Resort and FC Ruh, Lviv businessman and philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovsky, has been helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A lot of necessary and vital equipment was delivered to the front line and a lot of money was raised. The patron and his team start the new year of 2024 with donations to our defenders.
Hryhorii Kozlovskyi noted: “Together with Emily Resort, we are starting 2024 with a new donation for our defenders! As we announced, we have already transferred an additional UAH 2,000,000 from the New Year’s celebration at our complex to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! The total amount amounted to UAH 4,000,000!
I urge everyone who works and has the opportunity to continue to donate to our guardian angels! They are the ones who are defending our land from the Russian horde at the cost of their own lives and health!
And very important is faith! We believe that 2024 will be the year of our long-awaited victory!”
This is not the first such donation from a Lviv philanthropist and the Yellow and Blacks. On the Day of the Defender of Ukraine, FC Ruh and its founder Hryhoriy Kozlovsky joined a charity football tournament organized to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The competition raised over UAH 300 thousand for drones for the military.
And in November, FC Ruh and Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy organized a charity match of the stars called “We Believe in the Armed Forces”, which raised funds and purchased thermal underwear for Ukrainian soldiers. They were received by the soldiers of the 5th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine named after King Danylo, the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the military in Bakhmut.
Also, at the beginning of last year, on January 28, the founder of the Ruh football club, Hryhorii Kozlovskyi, held the first large-scale charity tournament in three sports with the participation of show business and e-sports stars, comedians, bloggers and other public figures at the Emily Sport Arena in the Emily Resort complex and the Ruh FC Academy. The event raised funds for wings for the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Leleka-1000 drones, Matrice 300 RTK, R-18 (or Punisher) attack drones, generators, and Ecoflow. We managed to raise almost 550 thousand hryvnias. In addition, Polish friends donated 1 million hryvnias, which was used to purchase an R-18 attack drone and 5 powerful generators for the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura”.
