Two million to save hearts: FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and Emily Resort help the Unbroken Center

Football club Ruh, its founder Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and Emily Resort donated UAH 2 million to purchase vital medical equipment for the Unbroken Center. The charitable contribution was a response to a request from the Medical Innovations Charitable Foundation to purchase a set of instruments for cardiac surgery.

According to Oleh Samchuk, CEO of Lviv’s First Medical Association, the new equipment will allow for minimally invasive heart surgery with minimal incisions, which meets European standards for cardiac surgery. “Every day, our hospital sees thousands of patients, including many military personnel with cardiovascular diseases. Thanks to this aid, we will be able to provide them with quality medical care,” emphasized Oleg Samchuk.

Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy emphasized the importance of supporting the medical sector: “We are always ready to respond to requests and help a good cause. It is crucial that the military and civilians have access to quality medical services, and we are happy to join this initiative.”

It is worth noting that this is not the first charity event from these benefactors. Earlier this year, Emily Resort has already allocated UAH 2 million for prostheses for Ukraine’s defenders who are undergoing treatment at the Unbroken Center. In addition, in October, the Movement for the Future Charitable Foundation joined a charity auction that raised UAH 10 million for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thanks to the systematic support of philanthropists, the Unbroken Center continues to develop its material and technical base and provide a high level of medical care to all those who need it. The new cardiac surgery equipment will be an important step in the development of the medical facility’s capabilities and will help save even more lives.
