
The students of the Ruh Academy won the prestigious international Interliga competition among the U-12 and U-13 categories.

Once again, the youth of the Movement achieved excellent results in Europe and demonstrated the quality of our Academy! We are proud of our young men, who demonstrate an interesting and bright game and win important victories for Ukrainian football. Good luck to you guys, because you have even greater victories ahead of you,” said the founder of FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
In the group stage of the championship, Ruh were stronger than Polish teams Zaglembie, Śląsk, Wisla, and Czech teams Sparta and Banik.

The pupils of the Ruh Academy played in the final four matches that determined the winner of the prestigious Interliga international championship. The decisive matches took place in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
In the final matches, Ruh U-13 won 2-1 against Hungarian Gonved U-13, lost to Polish Górnik U-13 with a similar score. U-13 from Zabrze, and the Yellow and Blacks also won 2-1 against Austria U-13 in Vienna.
“Ruh U-12 defeated Gonveda 4-2 and Gurnik 2-0. Lviv lost to Austria with a score of 0:1.
In six matches, the students of the Ruh Academy won 4 matches (goal difference 11-7). Having scored 12 points, the Yellow and Blacks became the winners of the international competition.
Earlier, two players of FC Ruh were included in the Golden Boy Football Benchmark rating. Bohdan Slyubyk ranks 67th in this ranking, and Yevhen Pastukh ranks 82nd. Both players are the only Ukrainians among the 100 nominees for the prestigious award.
The CIES Football Observatory calculated the number of minutes played by U-21 players in 61 leagues around the world, including the top 31 leagues in Europe. The rating was headed by Lviv-based FC Ruh, founded by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, with a score of 52.4%. Slovakia’s Zilina took second place with 44.5, and the Austrian Red Bull from Salzburg was third with 42.7.
And in April, FC Ruh won the bronze medal at the UEFA Grassroots Awards, which is awarded to those football clubs that have achieved particular success in working with young people and have created successful development projects.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy added that the Football Academy and FC Ruh will continue to do everything to improve their results and win new victories.
