The founder of the Ruh football club and the Emily Resort hotel and leisure complex, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, together with the company, donated UAH 2 million to the needs of medical institutions. The funds were raised from the celebration of the upcoming New Year 2024 at Emily Resort, which has been the basis for the charity event for the second year in a row.
This year, the Yuriy Lypa Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed People, as well as the ENT Center for Children’s Medicine and Okhmatdyt Hospital received support. Each of the institutions received one million hryvnias to improve the conditions for the provision of medical services.
“Unfortunately, the war is ongoing and we cannot stand aside. Our task is to support the army, to help those who are fighting for our future, and to help those for whom we are doing this – our children,” said Grigory Kozlovsky.
Assistance to to military and medical institutions
Helping the military and medical institutions has already become a tradition for the philanthropist and his team. Last year, on Christmas Eve, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh donated UAH 2 million to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds were raised from the New Year’s Eve celebration at Emily Resort.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy emphasized that since the beginning of the war he could not remain indifferent to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and internally displaced persons. Through the Movement into the Future Foundation for Ukraine, as well as on our own initiative, we have transferred machinery, equipment and vehicles to the Ukrainian military.
“We have received feedback from our soldiers, and we can see how the equipment we have delivered is helping them in the fighting. The Movement and I personally will continue to support our military to bring victory closer,” added Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
Holiday for children of fallen Heroes
Also, on St. Nicholas Day, FC Ruh, its founder Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, and the Emily Resort hotel and recreation complex organized a one-day weekend for displaced children and children of fallen heroes. The kids visited the FC Ruh Academy, took part in entertainment activities and spent the day in an atmosphere of joy and fun.
“I am extremely pleased that we were able to give a small miracle to the children of our defenders, IDPs and those who need special attention. I hope that the visit to our Academy will leave warm and happy memories in their hearts,” said the founder of the Academy and philanthropist Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
Last year alone, Hryhoriy Kozlovsky’s team donated UAH 24 million to various charitable causes from FC Ruh and the Emily Resort hotel and leisure complex.
