Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh received an award from Kyrylo Budanov

The Ruh football club and its founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, received a letter of thanks and a certificate of appreciation from the Head of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov for supporting the children of servicemen who were left without care due to the Russian attack.

The award was given for the club’s participation in the People of the Future project, which Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s team joined in April this year, becoming the first club in Ukraine to join this important initiative.

“We are pleased that our club has the opportunity to be part of such important social initiatives. It is our responsibility to support those in need, especially children of military personnel who have been left without parental care. Together with the Coordination Headquarters, we plan to implement even more projects that will help give children joy and hope for a better future,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, founder of FC Ruh.

As part of their cooperation, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and FC Ruh actively participated in social rehabilitation activities for children of military personnel and organized support for those who were left without parental care due to the war. Another important step was the club’s participation in charitable initiatives to support medical institutions, including the transfer of UAH 2 million to Lviv hospitals. The money was raised from the New Year’s Eve celebration at the Emily Resort hotel and leisure complex. This year, part of the funds was allocated to the Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans, the Center for Children’s Medicine and the Okhmatdyt Hospital, each of which received one million hryvnias to improve the conditions for the provision of medical services. Mr. Kozlovskyy noted: “Unfortunately, the war continues and we cannot stand aside. Our task is to support our defenders who are fighting for our future and to help those for whom we are doing it – our children.” Last year alone, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s team, including FC Ruh and Emily Resort, donated UAH 24 million to various charitable causes.
