The founder of FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, summarized the Academy’s performances in the Ukrainian Youth Football League
in the 2024/25 season and congratulated the U-15 team on winning the national competition.
– A challenging, intense and, without exaggeration, triumphant season for the Ruh Academy in the Ukrainian Children’s and Youth Football League has come to an end. Three sets of awards in three age categories is a result that deserves special attention and recognition.
U-15 victory – in the history of the club
Special congratulations go to the team born in 2010 and the coaching staff led by Nazar Savitsky. The victory in the Ukrainian Youth Football League is a natural result of hard and systematic work. After the triumph in the Winter Cup against older rivals, you have confirmed your strength in your age category. This victory is already part of Ruh’s history.
These guys are young but mature in the game. They are already demonstrating what it means to be part of the Yellow and Black family. They have character, talent and a real will to win. This is the future of Ruh, which is approaching faster than we could have imagined.
U-17 silver: one step closer to adult football
We would like to thank the team born in 2008, which managed to win silver medals in a difficult season. Some players have already been involved in U-19 matches, and some even made their debut for the main team in the UPL. Such progress is the best proof of the effectiveness of the academic system. I am grateful to coaches Mykhailo Dyachuk-Stavytskyi and Andrii Havryushov for the quality training of the Academy’s graduating class.
U-14 bronze: a worthy debut on the national stage
I would also like to congratulate the team born in 2011 on their debut in the Ukrainian Youth Football League and winning bronze medals. This is a strong start that lays the foundation for the future. Coaches Oleg Legan and Andriy Gordey are already preparing the team for new achievements. There are great opportunities and many victories ahead.
U-16: unbreakable and fighting to the end
I would also like to recognize the team born in 2009, which showed real courage in the quarterfinals against Shakhtar. You fought to the last, and only the intervention of the referees prevented you from continuing to fight for medals. I am confident that under the leadership of Grigory and Boris Barantsev, you will be able to achieve the desired result next season.
– Thank you to all the players, coaches, Academy staff and parents for this fantastic year! We are one big “yellow and black” family. We are together in moments of joy and in moments of disappointment. And now we can all celebrate, because Ruh has shown that our Academy is one of the best in Ukraine.
But we are not stopping – there are even more challenges ahead. We raise not only football players, but also strong, patriotic, decent people. I wish you all good health, inspiration, peaceful skies and new victories. Get some rest and let’s keep moving forward with renewed vigor!
