The young students of the Ruh Academy continue to make a confident statement at the national level. At the beginning of the summer, the club’s teams took part in two prestigious tournaments in Cherkasy and Zakarpattia. The result impressed even the most demanding fans: three sets of gold medals and bronze medals in all age categories where the Yellow and Blacks competed.
The club’s founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, proudly noted the boys’ achievements:
“An important stage of preparation for the new season is over! The successes of the students of the Ruh Academy cannot but rejoice. This is a confirmation of the correct work of the coaches and the talent of our children.”
U-16 triumphal procession
The performance of Ruh’s U-16 team is particularly impressive, having once again confirmed its status as one of the leaders of Ukrainian children’s and youth football. In Cherkasy, the boys won convincing victories over their peers from Shakhtar, Dynamo, Karpaty, LNZ and UVK-Kryvbas.
Coaches and experts note that the success of this team is not a coincidence, but the result of systematic work at the Academy. The players demonstrate discipline, character and a high level of tactical training.
Victories at the Havashi Memorial
Another significant achievement was the performance of Ruh’s U-17 and U-15 teams. Both teams took part in the prestigious Havashi Memorial in Zakarpattia, where they defeated their main rivals, peers from Shakhtar Donetsk, in the final matches.
These results show the gradual growth of entire generations of football players who are ready to compete at the highest level.
The new generation: U-14
The Academy’s youngest team, Ruh U-14, is just beginning its journey on the national stage. Despite this, the boys managed to win bronze medals at a tournament in Cherkasy. For the players, this is their first serious experience, which, according to the coaches, will become the foundation for further development.
Expectations before the start of the season
New challenges await the young players. The DUFL championship will start in a new format very soon. For the Ruh Academy, this means not only defending the championship title, but also an opportunity to test their strength in an even more competitive environment.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is confident in his wards:
“The new season promises to be challenging, but I believe that our kids and coaches will cope. They have talent, character and the support of the entire club. I believe that Ruh has many more important victories ahead of it.”
