The founder of the Ruh football club and academy, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, has announced a large-scale renovation and development of the club’s academy over the next two years. On his YouTube channel Ruh TV, he shared his ambitious plans, including the construction of a new modern academy for 960 children, the opening of a branch of a British school, the launch of a new arena, and the installation of innovative hybrid football fields.
From dream to reality: The Academy that surprises Europe
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy recalled the beginning of the story:“Think back to 2018. Back then, it was just a dream that no one believed in. But we not only realized it, we created one of the best academies in Europe.”
New Academy: more space for future stars
The academy, which was originally designed for 400 children, is now in need of a large-scale expansion. A new training complex for 960 children is being built. The new academic building will be equipped with the most modern infrastructure: housing, classrooms, medical facilities and European-level training areas.
The club plans to create a new sports center with innovative infrastructure:
“We have purchased four new state-of-the-art pitches – they were also purchased by such giants as Ajax, PSV and Werder. We are building the first full-fledged arena in Western Ukraine,” Kozlovskyy said.
World-class education: cooperation with British School
A real innovation will be a partnership with the British School, a British educational institution. A branch of the school with English-speaking teachers will be opened on the territory of the academy, where 150 students will be able to receive education according to international standards, combining education with professional football training.
“We signed an agreement with the British School. It will be a school with a sports profile, where they will teach in English. Children will be able to get a European education right at the academy,” Kozlovskyy said.

Students will have the opportunity to combine professional football training with international standards.
Success on the field: victories in Ukraine and Europe
The results of the Academy’s work under Kozlovskyy’s leadership are impressive. The students regularly play in national teams, including youth, junior and even Olympic teams:
“We already have our first national team – Oleksiy Sych. More than 11 players have played for the U-21, dozens represent Ukraine at the international level,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, the founder of the Academy, proudly.
We are especially proud of the team’s victory in 2011 at the One Cup international tournament in Poland, where Juventus, MU, Sporting and other European giants were the rivals.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy’s Ruh FC is characterized by a progressive philosophy: to enable young talents to break into the first team as soon as possible. The club has already trained players for the national team, and players aged 15-16 are preparing to make their debut in the Premier League.
Scale and social responsibility: 800 military children and 6.5 thousand pupils
Today, the academy is home to nearly 300 children, and in total, the Movement has more than 6,500 students, 800 of whom are children of military personnel.
“We provide them with everything they need free of charge. It is our duty to thank the families of the heroes,” Kozlovskyy emphasized.
The Movement’s philosophy: rapid growth and a focus on youth
The club focuses on early involvement in big football.
“For us, 20-21 years old is already an adult footballer. We give even 15-year-olds a chance to prove themselves in the Premier League. Young people should have a place” Kozlovskyy says.
That is why Ruh is actively selling young players and opening the way for a new generation. And as the owner predicts: “Next year, U-19 will fight for the championship. And the year after that, the championship will be a must.”
Movement creates the future
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy addressed parents with an invitation: do not be afraid to entrust the future of their children to the Academy, which is already the leader of children’s football in Ukraine.
“Ruh is the flagship of children’s football. Believe me, we will give you something that you will not get even in Europe. Welcome to our family.” – said the founder.
According to the founder, the Ruh Academy is not just a football project. It is a social mission, an investment in the future of Ukraine. “Ruh does not stop. And in the coming years, we will see a new level in the training of Ukrainian football players.
