Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy: “The students’ performances are amazing”
The founder of FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, praised the performances of the Academy teams, noting the intense and victorious weekend.
“It was a busy weekend for us: 10 matches and 9 victories! The U-17 and U-15 teams of the Ruh Academy defeated Dynamo Kyiv away. The U-14 and U-16 teams confidently defeated UVK-Kryvbas. At the same time, the Ruh Sports School won four victories over their peers from Karpaty. Meanwhile, our youngest age groups are currently in Slovenia and Poland at international tournaments. These guys represent not only Ruh, but the entire country in the international arena and are showing decent results!” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
The founder of Ruh also gave an interim assessment of the new format of children’s and youth competitions: “We have already completed 7 rounds of the Pro League. It has definitely become more interesting and competitive! However, there is still a lot of work to be done to make these competitions even better and aimed at the comprehensive development of the child and the progress of young football players. The main thing is that these reforms are already being implemented, and this is good news.”
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy emphasized that the success is the result of the systematic work of the entire club: “The performances of the Academy’s students are admirable, because at this stage Ruh is the sole leader in the team standings. Three of the four teams are at the top of the table. This speaks of the correct and systematic work of our team: children, coaches, staff, scouts, managers and executives of the club and everyone involved in the education of our talents.”
Systematic approach and infrastructure development
The current victories are part of the club’s long-term development strategy. Earlier, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy announced a new stage of the Academy’s development, including the construction of a modern base for a thousand children, the opening of a branch of the British school, the launch of innovative hybrid fields and an indoor arena.
“The Ruh Academy will be the first in western Ukraine to have a full-size indoor arena. All football fields will meet UEFA requirements,” said Hryhorii Kozlovskyy, emphasizing the architectural uniqueness of the project with stands integrated into the building.
The next matches will be played on October 25. The U-17 and U-15 teams will host UFC Kryvbas at home, while the U-16 and U-14 teams will meet away with the Kryvbas Children’s and Youth Sports School.
