A well-known Lviv patron and businessman Hryhoriy Kozlovskyyy and his team of “yellow and black” have handed over another aid package worth UAH 4 million to the Ukrainian military. This time, 180 drones were purchased as part of the Victory Birds initiative.
Drones of various types were sent to the frontline to the Ukrainian soldiers of the 103rd and 125th Tank Brigades of the Armed Forces, the 24th Brigade named after King Danylo, the 80th Airmobile Brigade, the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces and the 7th Separate Airborne Brigade. “The drones were also delivered to border guards and reconnaissance men. The drones will be delivered directly to the front line to the guys who are defending our country.
They have been delivered to the military:
- 240 FPV drones (combat);
- 31 Mavic and 1 MATRICE 30T (reconnaissance);
- an anti-drone rifle.
The charity organisation Movement for the Future, founded by Hryhorii Kozlovskii, and FC Ruh took part in the Victory Birds initiative under the auspices of the Lviv Regional Military Administration by financing the purchase of drones.
The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, noted that the initiative planned to deliver 1,000 drones to the military.
– “In total, in less than 5 months, we managed to deliver 1154 drones to our defenders. But we will not stop there, we will do everything in our power to send as many of these “birds” to the frontline as possible, because they save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and kill the occupiers. I thank everyone who joined this initiative. There is strength in unity, and victory will be ours!” said Kozytskyi.
Hryhorii Kozlovskyi and FC Ruh have been helping the Ukrainian military since the first days of Russia’s military aggression. Recently, FC Ruh and its founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, donated a set of equipment for the aerial reconnaissance training room to the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy. The aid package included ice panels, a touch table, a multi-touch panel and powerful laptops.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy noted that the athletes “have helped and will continue to help our glorious soldiers fight the evil that has attacked Ukraine”. The Rukh members have direct communication with military units, other charities and volunteer organisations.
– The club tries to help by all available means. And this assistance will not stop, but will only increase,” said the patron.
